lathe_spindle ? modifications ?
Internally threaded spindle:
Need to get a better camera. Threads are female 1/2"-20 to match my old male 1/2"-20 spindle and all of its accessories, such as a drill chuck, face plates, end mill holder, dead centers. Spindle is bored through 3/8" for now. I use 1/2-20 setscrews to connect accessories to it. Spindle is made from 12Lscraponium. Not the best material, but cheapness is a virtue that compensates for many failings! Some time in the future this spindle will be converted to 1"-8 outside and MT2 inside, with a 1/2" through bore.
